Dicing Saw Supervisor
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Centre Hall, Pennsylvania
Responsibilities:

Train new hires on current Dicing Saw processes

Provide ongoing training to Dicing Saw Technicians
-
Report employee training needs and problems to Director of Manufacturing
-
Back fill for Dicing Saw operator positions, on any shift, as needed
-
Follow detailed work instructions
-
Ensure all Dicing equipment is in proper working condition for maximum output
-
Mount and dismount product to dicing tape
-
Select and install dicing blades as required
-
Run first piece check to validate processes prior to dicing lot
-
Operate measuring equipment to verify product's dimensional accuracy
-
Perform data entry of product dimensions
-
Handle delicate materials without damaging or breaking
-
Keep various work order and material lots separate as required
-
Utilize Kan Ban system to track product inventory
-
Understand and follow cleaning protocols
-
Complete audits
-
Verify correct documentation and tooling
-
Ensure daily process documentation is updated appropriately
-
Assist with verification of failed units/failure analysis
-
Monitor product standards
-
Identify and debug problems in products, processes, and equipment and work for solutions
-
Maintain production machines and equipment (I.E., preventive maintenance)
Supervisory Responsibilities:
-
Trains and/or directs the training of newly hired Dicing Saw Operators
-
Schedules and assigns Dicing Saw Operators, in conjunction with the Director of Manufacturing
-
Reports issues with employees in the Dicing Saw department to the Director of Manufacturing
-
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
-
Handles discipline and termination of employees, in conjunction with the Director of Manufacturing and in accordance with company policies
Education/Experience:
-
5+ years of ultrasound experience preferred
-
2+ years direct supervisory experience preferred
-
Broad knowledge of the ultrasound build process required
-
Experience with operating K&S 980/982 and Disco DAD3240 dicing saws required
-
Knowledge of ISO 9001 & 13485 quality systems preferred
-
Knowledge of reading drawings and understanding dimensional tolerances and principles generally required
-
Small mechanical assembly knowledge required
-
Knowledge of basic cleanroom practices required
