Grinding/Epoxy/Laser Supervisor
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Centre Hall, Pennsylvania
Responsibilities:

Train new hires on current Grinding, Epoxy and Laser processes

Provide ongoing training to Grinding, Epoxy and Laser Technicians

Report employee training needs and problems to Director of Manufacturing
-
Back fill for Grinding, Epoxy and Laser technicians, on any shift, as needed

Complete audits
-
Verify correct documentation and tooling
-
Ensure daily process documentation is updated appropriately
-
Assist with verification of failed units/failure analysis
-
Monitor product standards
-
Identify and debug problems in products, processes, and equipment and work for solutions
-
Maintain production machines and equipment (I.E., preventive maintenance)

Performs other related duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
-
Trains and/or directs the training of newly hired Grinding, Epoxy and Laser Technicians

Schedules and assigns Grinding, Epoxy and Laser Technicians, in conjunction with the Director of Manufacturing
-
Reports issues with employees in the Grinding, Epoxy and Laser departments to the Director of Manufacturing
-
Interviews, hires, disciplines, and terminates assigned positions and employees per company policies and in cooperation with Director of Manufacturing.

Complete scheduled reviews of assigned employees as directed by supervisor
Education/Experience:
-
5+ years of ultrasound experience preferred
-
2+ years direct supervisory experience preferred
-
Broad knowledge of the ultrasound build process required

Small mechanical assembly knowledge required
